EzProxy is currently experiencing a service outage. The Library and Technology Services are aware of the issue and staff is investigating the cause.

The Vaughan Memorial Library will be performing scheduled maintenance on the Web Systems on December 22, 7:00am AST.  The outage is necessary to perform required maintenance and is expected to last approximately 30 minutes.

Open Journal Systems (https://ojs.acadiau.ca) is currently experiencing degraded performance when searching for users as a "Journal Manager"--queries which would normally complete in less than 15 seconds may take as long as 5 minutes.

This subpar performance is a known issue with the software vendor. The Library Systems team is investigating potential solutions.

Search performance in OJS has been improved; however, it is still sluggish at times. It is anticipated that an upcoming version of the software will fully resolve the issue. In the meantime, please have patience while using journal management and editorial components of OJS.

Vaughan Memorial Library Systems will be performing scheduled maintenance on OJS (https://ojs.acadiau.ca) beginning at 9:00 am Tuesday November 8. The outage is necessary to perform a software upgrade and is expected to last up to 2 hours.

OJS was successfully upgraded to LTS (long-term support) version 3.3.0, and access to its website has been restored.

The Vaughan Memorial Library website will be unavailable due to maintenance scheduled for 6:30-8:00am Monday August 22, 2022. It is not expected that the website will be offline for the full duration of this time; however, it may be inaccessible for 15-20 minutes periodically.
